Anyone that knows me, knows I tend to over indulge on food. As the saying goes, “Eat to live or live to eat? I am definitely the latter! So I will also begin posting about food.
Please excuse the lack of photos, as the thought only just hit me on Christmas Day. Now down to business.
For me personally there is no such thing as the best Banh Mi, every shop has their unique take of the famous Vietnamese Banh Mi. There is a dedicated facebook group called Vietnamese Banh Mi Appreciation Society if your hunting for Banh Mi.
Anyways, I ordered the Crispy Pork which consisted of roast pork and pork crackling.
And you can not forget to have a Nước Mía – sugarcane juice with your Banh Mi.
My Verdict
- Bread: 9/10 Damn Crispy Outside and Airy inside, Almost perfect
- Ratio: 9/10 The content to bread ratio was almost perfect
- Patte: 7/10 A bit on the lighter side in terms of taste
- Butter: 8/10 Light on taste and creamy
- Overall: 8/10
